Surprises in (strong/non linear) gravity (video)

Luis Lehner, Deputy Faculty Chair, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics

Recent years have seen a flurry of activities to understand the non-linear behaviour of General Relativity. Motivated by gravity wave efforts, fundamental questions and holographic applications, these efforts have revealed both intriguing simplicity and new highly complex phenomena.

This talk will describe a few of these aspects, placing special attention to how gravity can go turbulent and (some of) its possible consequences.
